Fake sellers
by Seller_QKBGhFJc8KVSX
Amazon replied

Hello everyone,

We’re facing a constant influx of fake sellers hijacking our UAE listing every day. Unfortunately, Amazon still doesn’t offer the Transparency Program in this marketplace, and so far their support has not been helpful in resolving this issue.

Does anyone have any tips or experience dealing with this situation?

Hello Sellers,

Do you know the difference between Brand Approvals and Brand Registry on Amazon? I’m here to explain.

Think of it this way: Brand Approval is getting permission to sell someone else's brand, while Brand Registry is registering and protecting your own brand on Amazon with a trademark.

Here’s a break down on what each program offers!

Brand Approvals: Permission to sell someone else's brand

  • Required permission to sell specific brands
  • Applies to sellers wanting to sell existing brands
  • Requires documentation (invoices, authorization letters, etc.)
  • You don't own the brand, you're getting permission to sell it

Brand Registry: Registering and protecting your own brand on Amazon with a trademark.

Note: If you are not the trademark owner but have a relationship with the brand owner, you can also request a selling role or a protection role and be added to represent the brand.

  • Brand Registry is a program for brand owners to protect their own brands
  • You must own/represent the trademarked brand
  • Requires registered or pending trademarks
  • Gives brand owners tools such as...Enhanced content (A+ Content), Brand store creation, Brand analytics, Protection against intellectual property violations, Brand reporting tools and more!

Note: If sellers don’t have a trademark but want to list under a brand that does not exist on Amazon, please reference the Brand name approval requirements and issue resolution.

How did you decide what was right for your business? Let me know in the comments!

Noor

Strugling to get brand registry approval
by Seller_bwkq0OYvb0Gp4
Amazon replied

After getting generic responses from the seller support team and brand registry team I am writing this forum post to check if someone else is facing the problem or is there any solution of the problem which you can suggest. I have submitted the case the in amazon brand registry for brand approval, its under review from many days but there is no reponse from the amazon. I have submitted all the required documents, invoice, trademark certificate issued by the ministary of economics UAE.

My case id status shows "Answered" and under review while I contacted the seller support team they said we can not help you in brand registry matter, if you can't than who will?

I am sitting with my products to list on amazon waiting day and night for the update on brand approval but no response at all.

Is someone faces this issue, what is the solution? @Seller_5WsK3rrVFyBk9 @Seller_BlIVJdYD3zD3G

Thank You to Account Health Team
by Seller_o4ftfrArynqte
Amazon replied

I have to give credit where credit is due!

Well done and big thank-you to the Account Health Support team for addressing copyright violations that I had previously reported. Amazon really takes copyright and intellectual property seriously, and your quick action to ensure the law of the UAE is correctly upheld is exemplary. I truly feel that my products and my artwork is protected by Amazon.

@Seller_BlIVJdYD3zD3G @Seller_5WsK3rrVFyBk9 - Please do give my heartfelt thanks to the team. :-)

Have anyone encountered this issue?

Please share your experience and solution.

We reported an unauthorized seller who is selling under our brand mappes listing. Report submitted via Amazon brand registry>put ASIN>select the unauthorized seller>choose unauthorized distribution>agreed terms and conditions> submit.

Received email that Amazon brand registry team received an email and will check and reply in 1-2 days.

After 1-2 days received an email to provide trademark documents which we provided without delay to a particular email which was mentioned to send documents on that email.

After that, there is no result, no reply

We have done this no results loop more than 5 times and even called and reach out to the Amazon support team that was also useless.

If anyone can share useful approach that will be very much helpful.

Best Regards,

I’m the original creator of two product listings on Amazon.ae and the enrolled Brand Registry owner for these items. The listings were hijacked at the catalog level: the main images were replaced with photos of unrelated products from a different category, and no edits were authorized by me. Since this change, the pages have been inaccurate and/or suppressed, blocking normal sales. I opened cases with Seller Support, Brand Registry Support, and filed abuse complaints, but each channel returns the same automated message that the “reported content has already been removed,” with no answers and no restoration. This is not a competing‑offer problem; it’s a catalog contribution that replaced images at the ASIN level, so there is no visible offender storefront to link. As the Brand Registry owner and listing creator, image/content priority should apply and the pages should be reverted to the last correct images. Case IDs: 11607190862, 18628178441, 11565628942, 11544069942.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve repeatedly escalated with detailed evidence and follow‑ups, yet cases keep closing with the same automated line and without reverting the listings to a compliant state. These replies don’t address why the images weren’t restored, why the abusive contribution in Contribution History remains, or why my listings were effectively shut down instead of fixed. I’ve invested in this marketplace and built my business here with the understanding that Brand Registry protects owner‑created listings and that clear violations are corrected. Receiving only automated closures after weeks of effort feels like the platform is cutting off my business without due process or explanation, which is deeply disappointing and undermines the trust needed to keep investing here.
