FedEx not scanning at time of drop off which jeaopordizing A - Z claim protection

the Fedex drivers are so overwhelmed right now and the drop off scan is not showing.

I have a physical receeipt showing i dropped it off at "X time / date" but im not certain amazon would accept that.

really annoying right now with the holidays that we have no protection with Fedex when they usually are so good.

Fedex employee also told me they are updating their system which is causing some havoc right now

Bryce im here in the midwest this has never happened before UPS and Post office closed (Monday) all orders could not go out literally nothing I could do I drove around for nothing please help no idea how this will shake out

yes I am indeed although I did not hear the storm being called "blair" but yes I am in the impacted states 100% thank you so much kind sir

and NOW the NEWEST problem (insert crying emoji) USPS is closed AGAIN and orders are still showing they MUST be shipped (scanned in) today yet thats literally impossible in the ENTIRE COUNTRY

of course I will print labels and get everything ready but that wont protect us from INR and A-Z claims

this is turning into a clown show

@Bryce_Amazonwe are in Texas which has been affected by Storm Blair. We have shipped all our packaged on time and have receipts for them. We have some FedEx Ground orders which look like they were not picked up from the FedEx store yet from yesterday. We assume due to the heavy snow. Would we be covered for an AtoZ claim with the drop off receipt we got? We did our part, FedEx have not done theirs. I risked my life in the snow to get the packages out and i'm still left to worry about being penalized.

I do have some communications related to USPS and the holiday today. My colleague KJ has been in contact with the internal team who oversee this, and has shared this message across the forums within threads related to January 9th:

"There are no adjustments being made to Ship By dates. While USPS is closed today, other shipping services are available today for your shipments, and sellers have the option to use them. I understand that many sellers prefer to use USPS services, and I have shared that feedback with our partner team and will follow up if there are any updates about this topic."

Apologies for the frustration this has caused, if I hear anything else I will let you know.
