~$800 A-z INR claim lost, appeal denied. But USPS shows delivered with Signature confirmation.
REALLY FRUSTRATED! Amazon, please STOP supporting scammers.
I bough shipping label with signature required using Amazon Buy Shipping service, but did not ship it on time. The delivery is 14 days later than the promised delivery date, but it was indeed delivered to the buyer and signature confirmation is on file. Buyer opened A-z INR claim 3 days before delivery and Amazon granted his claim and refunded the order from my account.
After tracking shows the item is delivered, I contacted buyer. He opened a return request saying the item was not what he ordered. His return request was automatically approved with pre-paid return label. I contacted him again, told him the item we shipped was exactly what he ordered, and we have photos and video to prove that. I asked him what item (part # and serial #) he received, but he never told me the part # and serial #. He twice promised he would return it by some date, but he never shipped out the return package. I appeal the A-z claim by the allowed appeal date window, but Amazon denied my appeal saying "in this instance, the order was not shipped on time, and the customer reported a delivery problem." The buyer got full refund and now is happily enjoying the free $800-value item from me.
In this case, the buyer is obviously taking advantage of me and succeed in his zero-dollar shopping, WITH THE HELP OF AMAZON!
Amazon, please STOP supporting scammers.
Could any MOD please help to look into this?

If you didn't ship on time, you lose; end of story.
My mail carrier did not pick up my mail on February 18th for whatever reason so I canceled/refunded all of the orders that had to go out that day so I wouldn't risk losing my merchandise over Amazon's policies.

Therefore, Amazon is very much lack of common sense and lake of justice to make decisions for INR claims. That is why I am calling for Amazon STOP SUPPORTING SCAMMERS!
