FBA Orders
Hello fellow sellers,
I’m reaching out to see if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue or has any insight.For the past two days, I’ve noticed that multiple FBA orders are stuck in a "Pending" status, which is unusual for my account.
I contacted Amazon Seller Support, and they confirmed that it’s due to pending buyer payment authorizations. However, this situation has never happened before in my selling history.
Key details:
- I am fulfilling via FBA onlyProducts are priced normally,
-no suspicious spikes in sales or discounts.
- 2 of the pending orders have already been automatically canceled
All affected orders were showing “Pending – Awaiting Payment” in the order dashboard
My concerns:
- Why are buyer payments not going through all of a sudden?
- Is this due to recent system delays, new fraud filters, or a known technical issue?
- How can I prevent such cancellations and avoid reserved inventory being tied up?
I’d appreciate it if anyone from the community (or Amazon moderators) could shed light on:
- Whether this is a wider issue in the UAE or global FBA system
- Any changes to payment authorization timelines
- Tips on avoiding cancellations due to payment delays

We have 2 Orders stuck as well. However, this happens due to delay in shipment, not due to Payment authorization. The System shows Payment Pending, but actually its because shipment not done.
