Amazon refunded even though the customer received their package
The customer bought a hairdryer from us. We sent it out, but it went missing. We asked the customer whether they wanted a refund or a new item, and the customer chose a new item, which we sent out the same day and which they also received (proof exists). The customer also submitted an A-to-Z claim to get a refund, and even though we provided evidence that new goods were sent out and received by the customer, Amazon refunded the full amount to the customer. SO, we have sent out two VERY expensive hairdryers and got to pay only Amazon fees. What are we supposed to do here?!

Did you use an Amazon partnered carrier? If yes, you could have just informed Amazon directly about the item. Also, did you check with Amazon before sending a second item?
