Product poorly listed and does not allow updating!
I have a case of a product that is not listed in the correct category. Furthermore, the image in the listing does not correspond to the current image of the product (the brand has changed the image of the product). I requested the modification of the listing, mainly because the category is not correct, and they denied the update claiming that another seller has requested the right to the listing, but this other seller is not the brand. Why do you allow the product to be shown to the consumer in a category that is not correct and with an outdated image instead of requesting that this listing be corrected and updated?

Are YOU the brand? Do you have a "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell on Amazon? So, maybe this other seller HAS indeed a relationship with the brand owner and permission to sell. Maybe also he sells a lot more than you and most probably HE did create this listing and payed for ads to make the listing run.
So, not having a "Letter of Authorization", keep still and don't wake up sleeping dogs. Amazon deactivates accounts forever for lack of LOA.

Hello @Seller_uUvyEOpZGmN6k,
Thanks for reaching out. If the packaging has changed, a new ASIN will need to be created for this item per the Detail Page Rules policy. If the manufacturer is using the same UPC on the new packaging as the original packaging, you will need to work with them to provide a new UPC as well for the products and ensure that the new UPC is on the updated packaging.
I will work on getting the item removed from the incorrect category for you and will follow up when I have an update.
Regards,
Michelle
