Missing removal order 122 units!
Hi sellers! I need some advice on a lost removal order please.
I was advised by Support to remove up to 50% of my inventory that was considered 'excess'. So I submitted a removal order request on January 13th 2025 for 122 units to come back to my location (which I have successfully done removals several times before). It is marked as 'complete' almost straight away, however it's now 10th April and no sign of the units at my location. I have not been contacted by any courier about the shipment either. I've asked Support what's happening several times and I just get the same regular response:
'Thanks for your continued patience. We are currently researching your issue in partnership with the responsible team. We'll provide an update as soon as any additional information is available."
So I am assuming now my inventory has been lost and I have questions:
- Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do about it?
- Is it possibly theft?
- Do I get reimbursed for the lost units?
- It says in my inventory settings that I have 133 units, which is wrong it should be 11 units after the 122 removed. Am I still paying storage for the missing units?
I'm starting to panic because I also need to re-stock very soon, and my trust in FBA is definitely shaken! Any help is welcome, thank you so much :)

Hey , Yes i have been in the same situation before and what i can suggest you is get the removal shipment id number and the name of the courier by generating a report and then personally contact the courier and track your shipment

**UPDATE** Support replied saying the removal delivery was unsuccessful and the units are back in the warehouse again. Issue is resolved :) (though it took a very long time!!)

yes you can get reimbursed for lost units,create a case then describe your issue with removal order id
