Valid Tracking Rate for self-ship orders - Can we use our

Hi,

We are sellers of paper on Amazon, currently using self-shipment for deliveries. Yesterday, I received an email from Amazon stating that our Valid Tracking Rate for self-ship orders in select categories is below the 95% requirement. This issue arises because we use our own delivery facility and provide our own tracking number, and we maintain internal manual tracking numbers for all orders, along with client signatures as proof of delivery.

I understand that, according to Amazon’s policy, we must use one of the approved couriers listed in Amazon's portal to obtain valid tracking numbers. However, we deal with large and heavy boxes of paper, and the shipping charges with the approved couriers are significantly high alomst 50% of the product price. As a result, we are using our own delivery service to manage costs.

We have around 8 SKUs only, and we need to request approval to continue selling these specific 8-10 SKUs/products under a one category only ( paper category) with our own delivery service. Due to the weight and size of these boxes, using the approved couriers is not possible.

Any suggestions from your side as we don't want our account to be suspended?

Thank you.

Hi,

I don't think you will have any other option except to ship with one of Amazon's listed carriers.

If you have stable volume of orders, maybe you could put the stocks on FBA model instead.

Finally, they have replied saying that I can :)

"For items that are hand-delivered with your own personnel instead of a third-party carrier, select Carrier as ‘Self-Delivery’ from the carrier drop-down box and enter the delivery associate’s mobile number (10 digits) in the ‘Tracking ID’ text box.

As mentioned in our previous email this information is already available under the section "Confirm an individual shipment for one order", in the following the help page we had provided: https://sellercentral.amazon.ae/help/hub/reference/G200197960
