A Brand That is Not Enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry Has Been Mysteriously Enrolled in Transparency Program by a Registered Owner of ANOTHER Brand
I was one of a dozen of sellers selling the same product that had one of those "pseudo brand" names assigned by Amazon long time ago. I am 90% sure that this "pseudo brand" is not enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, because there is no such brand in USPTO database.
Suddenly, I noticed that my listing became inactive, and I am requested now by Amazon to enter transparency codes to reactivate the listing.
How come that some other seller was able to hi-jack this listing and enroll this ASIN in Amazon Transparency Program?
I see that this seller has only one (and very different) brand registered with USPTO and already enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry.
My understanding is that it is impossible to claim an ASIN as a part of your own brand unless it is either GENERIC (but this is not the case) or the ASIN has exactly the same brand name shown by Amazon as your own brand already enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry.

First off, if you have an open Support case that has the details of the product, that would help me investigate further so please send me a case ID if you have one.
Also, I do want to reiterate that Amazon Brand Registry takes trademarks from other offices outside of the USPTO so the fact that nothing comes up from the USPTO isn't a red flag to me right out of the gate. I'd need more information to confirm.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

A Registered Brand enrolled in Amazon Transparency can assign a Transparency product to other seller/sellers at the time of product enrollment, who is authorized by the Brand owner to retail/distribute the product.
Such product needs to have the Transparency code/serial number on every product sold at Amazon or elsewhere.
Now Transparency code can be embedded on the same FBA label.
