limited access to Amazon seller central due to Identity information.

Hi,

Currently I am selling in North America, i.e. Mexico, USA and Canada. I am looking to expand to other marketplaces like Europe. To start with I selected Germany and added the current debit card which I use for my North America, but it says that Card is invalid. I checked the card information so many times and everything is correct. Then I tried to change or replace it by another credit card its gets added but still same message that card is invalid. So I thought that there may be some issue with Debit card or Credit card. So try to add my Business checking account but it ask me if my bank account is in Germany. No, Its in United states but its business checking and can be used for International transaction. I raised numerous tickets as we all know amazon associates are never helpful and solve the issue. One agent said that you have to add the card in all marketplace of europe in order to sell, ok, I tried that too, added the same Credit/ Debit Card in all marketplace of Europe, still card is invalid. Then I checked the address, expiry date, card number everything is correct. But Amazon system says its invalid.

Does any one had this experience before or know the solution for this ? Its better to ask other members on the forum instead of asking agents to help, because I am trying to solve this issue from last one month but did not get any support or help in this regard from Amazon.com

Posting the credit card requirements from the Seller Help page for you below. Although the page mentions credit or debit card near the top, that changes to just credit card for the rest of the page and the general consensus is it must be a credit card.

Start there, by changing your debit card to a credit card and make sure it meets all the requirements listed. Change it first on the buyer side, in the buyer account that was created when you first signed up for your seller account. Give that time to update, then change it on the seller side.

If you still have limited access after that, create a case with Seller Support and post the case ID. Perhaps a Community Manager will happen by and can provide assistance.

Good Evening @Seller_X2I77HbpR8RQM , it looks like @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQ provided possible troubleshooting guidance on why your account was showing a "Identity Information" notice.

If the instructions they shared helped you, feel free to mark Vernon's post as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. This helps other sellers find the answer to your question at the top of the post just in case they find themselves in a similar situation.

I additionally did another review of your account and no longer see the Identity Information notice on your account. Please feel free to follow up with us if it reappears and we will take a look at what might be going on right away. You can also reach out to Selling Partner Support with inquiries at anytime. Hope you have a great weekend! Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
