Intellectual Property Complaints

Regarding a product I Received Intellectual Property Complaints. I bought this product from Amazon.com and although I sent the invoice information about this product, it was not deemed sufficient and the inactive on the product was not removed. I wonder what else can I do?

Amazon doesn't provide invoices, Amazon provides receipts. What you did is Retail Arbitrage and since you can't provide an invoice, the IP Complaint will stand.

If you used a Prime account to make your purchases, you have an additional problem which could lead to an account suspension should Amazon discover that too.

Your next steps is contacting the Right's owner and asking for a Retraction, Letter of Authorization or License agreement to demonstrate that the products are lawful.

The Right's owner information should be provided in the performance notification labeled (Policy Warning) that was received when the issue first occurred.

When listing products here are some questions you want to ask yourself.

How do you currently ensure your supplier(s) provide authentically sourced products?

How do you ensure the products you source are authentic and match your product listing?

Here is some helpful information Amazon Intellectual Property Policy and Amazon Anti-Counterfeiting Policy to help you get a better understanding of Amazon's policy.

Please check your account and performance notifications periodically for updates and additional information/steps.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
