Its General practice on Amazon, your competitor easily can suspended your account with help of Amazon policies.

The product in question, was actually branded or generic? Meaning, it belonged to a certain brand or required selling approvals yet was listed as Generic?
Based on that, you can provide supporting documents to appeal.
