Skin lightening and whitening products
We are a French skincare brand dedicated to Melanin skin. Our brand is French and have been in Business for 30 years in Paris. As you may know, European legislation is much harder on skincare products that US one. It is completely forbidden in EU to use hydroquinone or Mercury components. We have more than 100 SKU'S available and every time that we tried to create a new SKU we are flagged by this IA engine as "Skin lightening and whitening products". We have spent already more than $500 on 4 products to have a USA laboratory certification and we have now an official USA certification that No Mercury at all were detected. We did submit all documents to the Compliance team, and we are still Under Review or Rejected. We do understand that Amazon wants to protect consumers & make sure that all products sold are following US Guideline but honestly it is a shame that after submitting certification from a US laboratory and from the original manufacturer like we did, we are still "rejected & under review". We have been selling on Amazon from Months now, but we are wasting a lot of resources, time, effort & Money to receive an answer like "Test report is missing or invalid" while we submitted it all If anybody can help to get out this nightmare Please let us know HT26 Paris USA

As you've mentioned your products were flagged as a skin lightening or whitening product. As you mentioned your documents are under review or have been rejected, can your provide the case ID that you provided your documentation through?

I would suggest reviewing our help page on skin lightening products? Does your documentation meet the listed requirements? Here's a list of the documents required:
- 21 CFR 700.13 (Cosmetic Testing – Mercury); and
- 21 CFR Part 710 (Voluntary Registration of Cosmetic Product Establishments); and
- 21 CFR Part 720 (Voluntary Filing of Cosmetic Product Ingredient and Cosmetic Raw Material Composition Statements)
