PO Box NOT allowed
Is this true, amazon has recently changed the rule and will NOT allow a PO box as an address. Has anybody opened a new account recently with a PO box? Not sure if this is just a rumor or real, they say USPS has changed some policy regarding their usage. Sounds too suspicious.

Correct. Amazon considers you to be operating a business. Businesses all have a physical street address even if you are selling from a kitchen in your house. That would be your company headquarters and your company address. A PO Box, is used to receive mail you do not want to go to that physical address. You have to have a physical address to get a retailer's license.
