Amazon becomes more hostile every day. Counterfeit claim successfully appealed, still gated, amazon support useless as usual
I had a clueless customer claim counterfeit on an item earlier this year. On a brand I've sold a ton of. I got hit with the violation around April.
I ignored it because I took a well deserved break from Amazon after 11 years and going bald dealing with this hostile platform which gets worse every year. Since the writing is on the wall, more and more brands are being taken away from sellers, seller support is becoming more and more worthless an useless, and more and more restrictions are being placed on sellers, I decided to look into other opportunities to see if I could replace my income from this god forsaken platform.
Unfortunately that didn't pan out. So I start getting back into the swing of things here and of course, I had to appeal this violation. Which I did, successfully.
The issue is, even though my appeal was accepted, I am still gated in this brand, and I'm having no luck lifting this restriction as the team that's reviewing it is as incompetent as every other email only amazon team. Honestly I don't know how these people get and keep their jobs with this trillion dollar company being so bad at what they do.
At my wits end with this issue, and like 4 more issues which I've been trying to fix for over a week with no success.
Not sure what to do.

It's not just Amazon restricting Brands, but the brands themselves. Do you have a LOA from said brand?

I'm sorry for the trouble. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. While you may have been approved in the past, as the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction.
For this reason, you may be required to gain approval to sell certain products. You can see if there's an option to apply to sell through Seller Central, going to Catalog>Add a Product. Next, find the ASIN you would like to sell and then apply to sell if there is an option.
