Amazon shipping labels for FBM orders print too light

I have adjusted my printer settings (Zebra LP2844) to no avail. Labels from Stamps dot com, Ebay and PirateShip all print beautifully. Amazon labels are so light I am afraid it will affect scans and also result in longer delivery times and even mis-deliveries by the carriers.

If you are using the stock drivers, Amazon for some reason doesn't work real well.

I suggest downloading the free drivers from Seagull Scientific; they give more adjustment ability, and handle Amazon labels with no problem.

Note: I have no connection with Seagull Scientific; just passing along the info that helped me in the past.

Same happens to me, I tried adjusting my printer settings several times. I use Mozilla Firefox instead of google and that fixes it for me. It sounds odd, I know, but it works for me, hopefully that fixes for you too :)

For our Zebra, we installed a Seagull printer driver and it fixed any printing problem we had. You can Google that and the Seagull Scientific site will come up with the option to install the driver for your particular printer.

Oh really? To me Amazon shipping label with Zebra printer has no issue but we have a lot of issue with Shipsation and eBay. Whenever I bring packages with labels from Shipstation or eBay, UPS guy can't scan so I print out with regular printer with Letter paper size and then I cut and attached with UPS label package. I never have an issue with Amazon orders. Maybe you can adjust size of label at Print Option. I hope you can fix the issue.

UPDATE! I was printing to a PDF and then printing on my printer. There is a "button" for lack of a better word on the lower right side when buying postage that lets you set it up to print "direct" to your printer, when I activated that the label came out MUCH better looking!

There has to be some reason the Amazon labels for FBM print differently than anyone else's labels. I don't get it. Everyone else's labels print fine but again today, they were unscannable at the post office, and they had to reprint the barcode *out back.* We use Zebra thermal printers, and the Amazon labels are awful and it doesn't matter what the settings are adjusted to. They are better than they were though.. they *fixed* it to a degree but lately the labels are too light, and no it's not adjustable for some reason. Does Amazon have a FIX? Thanks!
