Do not send USPS shipments to RDU4!
For those who use USPS or ship from overseas through USPS (UPS is not always an option). I strongly advise that you to avoid sending inventory to RDU4 for it will be refused by the warehouse and sent back. I contacted Amazon support to understand why they refused my inventory and they said they have no records of a delivery attempt and that there should be no reason why they wouldn't accept USPS packages. So I contacted the USPS and they informed me that they "can not deliver without a delivery point which is either a mailbox or a office location that is accessible to the mail carrier. We have been trying to have this resolved with the company for some time. Please install a mailbox and we will begin delivery to the plant."
I'm very frustrated because I was told to send inventory to a warehouse that has no means of accepting it. Furthermore, it will cost me fees to ship back my inventory internationally. Amazon, please resolve this issue if you're asking sellers to send in inventory or at least inform them that our inventory wont be accepted.

Other sellers have noted that FBA inbound shipments via USPS will sometimes be returned to sender because the USPS driver will attempt delivery then be told by the DC staff to pull aside for an unknown amount of time before DC staff can receive the shipment. Due to that delay, the USPS driver (allegedly) will turn around to continue their delivery route instead - they can't afford to wait 2, 3, 4+ hours in the DC parking lot for a single shipment, regardless of how fair it seems. In my experience, the accepted solution is to use UPS or FedEx for inbound FBA shipments instead.

RDU4 is not too far from us, it's in Fayetteville, NC. This is a new warehouse and its opening kept being delayed for months. The latest I heard in the news is that it began hiring in early June 2024, just over a month ago, hoping to open soon.
I bet the issue is that it's not fully operational yet, it's short on employees and still going through the training/setting up phase, including working with the carriers. FBA system, probably, jumped the gun by adding this warehouse for sellers' use.
Anyway, if I were you, @TaylorR_Amazon, I would go contact whoever handles the warehouse in this region and report them that they are not set up to accept USPS shipments yet. They should have a quick way of disabling this until it's all ready and set up. And, of course, all sellers whose RDU4 shipments were refused should be fully reimbursed for the shipping costs wasted.
