I am an individual seller on Amazon UAE and recently noticed a pop-up in the Orders tab stating:
"An invoice was not uploaded for this order. If you are legally required to provide an invoice, you can upload one now by clicking on the Upload Invoice button."
As an individual seller without a trade license or VAT registration, am I legally required to provide an invoice to customers? My sales are below AED 375,000 per year, and I am not registered for VAT.
I would appreciate clarification from experienced sellers or Amazon support on whether invoice uploading is mandatory for individual sellers or only for VAT-registered businesses.
Thank you!

Non-VAT registered sellers can send commercial invoice showing no tax has been collected on the final price. Both VAT invoice & commercial invoice template can be found on the Amazon seller help pages.
Hello @Seller_MNpEFyzuIHw0y,
Thank you for your post. As @Seller_doQAK3AijQL6b said, Sellers are responsible to issue and deliver compliant invoice to customer for each order promptly after the shipment of the order was confirmed. If you are registered for VAT, provide the customer with a compliant tax invoice. Non-registered for VAT sellers should issue commercial invoices, but without VAT being charged.
More information can be found in Quick reference: Invoicing to the customer.
Regards,
Adam
