FedEx Ground Economy shipping options coming up for business locations
From what I am seeing, FedEx Ground Economy is a service which is only supposed to be available to residential addresses, not commercial addresses. I am noticing, however, that I am getting FedEx Economy service options for business locations in Amazon Buy Shipping, however. This concerns me as I'm concerned that I'll get back billed whatever the regular FedEx Ground rate is instead of the rate I was quoted for FedEx Ground Economy because Amazon's system quoted it for an address for which it was ineligible to ship. Can anyone give me any guidance on this? I've been using FedEx Ground Economy for a while, for some shipments paying around $8.00 where FedEx Ground would be billed at around $80.00, so it's quite concerning if I'm going to be back-billed on these due to an Amazon programming error. Perhaps Amazon has some agreement that allows FedEx Ground Economy to business addresses? I sure hope so.
