Updating Price & Quantity Bulk Edit Methods Question
Hi, I've been selling for about a year and I have built up my product listings to just over a 1000. I am looking to adjust my pricing and quantities for my listings using a bulk edit method. I've been researching on how to do this and it looks as though their are 2 basic ways to accomplish this either by using a flat file upload using the "add products via upload" method or else using their SP-API and using the proper calls to upload a feed file. My question is two-fold. First, are their any advantages to using one method over the other? I only want to update price and quantities. The flat file upload looks to me to be probably the simpler method. The second part of my question is are their other methods to do this programmatically that would be even more efficient than the two methods offered by Amazon? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that you are trying to update price and quantity on your items. You are correct that using an inventory loader file is the easiest way to do this.
Regarding your second question. I will let your fellow sellers weigh in on that if they can as I can't provide you any information regarding anything outside of Amazons site.
