A sword IS a striking device. You just have to accept that you can't sell this on Amazon.

Thank you for providing the ASIN.
With the help of an internal team, we reviewed some of the ASIN's on the account showing the same restriction, they seem to be variations of each other. I wonder if the way the ASIN's were created is that much different than some of your other similar items that do not seem to have the same restrictions.
Due to the Restricted Product violation you are dealing with for the above mentioned ASIN, the only option available is what was already provided:
"This product has been identified as escrima sticks, bo staff, or a similar blunt force striking device. Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale of the similar product. If your product is related to this type, then there may be no path for reinstatement. If you believe this determination has been made in error, please appeal and update the detail page with images showcasing all sides of the product for review."
The policy referenced is: Explosives, weapons, and related items
That in part states:
Knives and other bladed products
Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale of certain knives, including switchblades, balisongs, stilettos, and some blades designed to look like harmless items.
Examples of permitted listings
Typical hunting or kitchen knives, such as the following:
- Hunting knives
- Kitchen knives
- Replica swords
- Machetes
- Claw knives or karambit knives
- Throwing spears and knives
If you believe your item should be permitted, you may need to modify the listing in some way and make sure the images are correct and follow the dispute path on the Account Health Page. You would have to prove to Amazon your item is, for example, a Replica sword.
Otherwise the option is to no longer list the item and acknowledge the violation.
A concern is, if you do not address the Restricted Product violations due to a certain violation not having an Account Health Rating Impact, you run the risk of the next same type of violation having an impact. And the impact may keep increasing, so my advice is to address ALL violations.
