Both the options are great and helpful but the reimbursement for sellers are way too problematic in both FBA & FBM.. the customers should not be allowed to return the product if they're used.. some items like apparels, lingerie items are not even accepted by the brands in-store due to hygiene reasons but amazon customers just get these items returned without hassle and the sellers face heavy losses.
Also, there are many customers who order items for temporary period for a party or event, use the item and once the event or party is finished they claim for returns. Please do something about it and dont offer immediate returns.. Please assess the item first once they're returned and if they're customer damaged then either charge them partial or decline the reimbursement based on the returned item condition. This will help the sellers to cope with the loss when the partial reimbursement amount is paid to the seller after charging the customer. It will also encourage genuine customers to enjoy hassle free shopping and will keep the fake customers at bay.
