Update your Business Address and Legal Name on Seller Central for E-Invoicing Requirement (Applicable for Saudi Arabia residents)
The Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has issued new e-invoicing regulations that require Amazon to issue e-invoices in an electronic format with your details (i.e. name, national address, national identifier, etc.) in Arabic. Failure to comply with these regulations may make our invoices to you invalid. This could hinder your business with Amazon, impact your ability to recover input VAT, or even increase the risk of a ZATCA VAT audit.
If you have a local establishment or residency in Saudi Arabia, you must:
- Update your legal name in Arabic here as per the government-issued identification document, such as your VAT Registration certificate, Commercial Registration certificate (for businesses), or National ID or Iqama card (for individuals).
If your Arabic legal name is not updated on Seller Central, Amazon will transliterate your legal name which might not reflect the correct spelling. Therefore, it is still your responsibility to ensure the information contained therein is correct.
- Update your Business address here with building number (in 4 numerical digits) and postal code (in 5 numerical digits). Look up your national address through SPL Online portal here. The guide will navigate you through the process.
If you are registered with the ZATCA for VAT purposes, update your VAT registration number here. For more information, go to Seller University How to update VAT Registration details.
