How is "did not approve purchase" is seller's fault???

I notice if buyer opens return request under "did not approve purchase" , amazon did not give us option to deduct return shipping, and I do not understand how is this SELLER's mistake....so seller controls buyer's end and place the order for them? or we should be held responsible for their kid click on their phone? Or simply they just do not want it ?

Normally they just file a charge-back and Amazon will eat the money.

I have not had one leave feedback of any kind but it's 99.9% likely that Amazon would NOT remove it because they don't remove anything anymore -- even if it's the wrong seller or a failed extortion attempt.

You've been here a couple years -- long enough to know Amazon seldom backs sellers UNLIKE eBay where they will protect us much better AND let us block buyers!

It upsets me that they order the item that is offered and then they say WRONG ITEM SEND. The items is described as it is.

Because amazon is god, the buyer is alway right and you, the seller, are a horrible, lieing sinner that can not be trusted at all. It is the amazon way.

The classic is when a buyer orders something wrong, and then blames us for it. "But we didn't approve this purchase, and shouldn't have to pay for shipping!"

The lack of accountability is absurd.

Atleast they did not falsely state the product was defective and hurt your product performance. They will choose any option to get out of paying the return shipping.

100% won't remove negative feedback "did not order" like it is the seller's fault... but oh no Amazon WON'T remove it! 100% unfair to sellers!

Completely agree!! This should not even be an option for a return reason and the buyer should have to pay the return shipping fee instead of the seller.

It's always nice. I had a customer who sent me a bunch of threatening message, because her kid used her credit card and I "took the money". I told her that I don't know who using her card, and I don't charge any cards, as Amazon's system is charging it. Yet, she rudely kept messaging me about how trash of a person I am for taking money from kids.

There was no way telling her that her kid is her responsibility and she can't blame random people on the Internet for her kid using her credit card. So I just didn't respond anymore. Fortunately it happened only once, like 5 years ago. I'm still weirded out by that woman's behavior... :-/
