【Need help from Amazon】I submitted a real electricity bill but Amazon rejected my appeal

Dear Amazon,

Hello, I requested Amazon to have a video call with me to verify my identity.

My Amazon selling account was successfully activated on September 30. But it was deactivated on October 2, and I received an email notification that I needed to provide additional documents to verify my identity.

I submitted a real electricity bill on November 6, and the invoice issued by the bill as supporting materials. My electricity bill can be queried and is real and valid. However, on November 6, I received an email that my account was rejected for restoration, and the reason was: there is not enough information to reactivate my account at present.

At the same time, the email did not tell me how to reactivate my account. It notified me that if I think my account was wrongly deactivated, I need to explain and submit evidence to show that my account did not violate the provisions of Article 3 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. After that, I wrote 4 appeal emails and received no response.

I am very frustrated! Not only was my account restoration rejected because I submitted a real electricity bill, but I think my appeal was reviewed by a machine, not a human.

Finally, I don't know how I can reactivate my Amazon selling account. My account was deactivated, isn't it because I need to provide additional documents to verify my identity? So, I requested that Amazon conduct a video call with me to verify my identity.

There may be a couple of reasons for the rejection.

Have you ensured you have a valid credit card entered in your seller account? It must be a credit card (charges interest on any balance, you receive a statement, not tied to a checking or savings account), not a debit card or pre-paid card.

If you're certain it meets the requirements, go into the buyer side of your account. If the card it there, delete it and re-enter it. If it isn't there, enter it. Either way, wait 30 minutes or so to give it time to flow through the system, then go into the seller side and select the card there.

How did you obtain the electricity bill? If you downloaded it and submitted that to Amazon, it may contain metadata the bot doesn't like. Instead, download the document then either take a photo with your phone's camera and submit the jpg or download it, scan, save to pdf and submit that.
