Search Query Performance

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with some concerns about the search query performance for my product.

1] Irrelevant Keywords: In my product’s search query performance, I’ve noticed that many of the keywords being shown are not relevant to my product. Could you advise on how I can optimize or refine the keywords to better align with my product offerings?

2] Low Brand Share: For the keywords where my product is relevant, I have observed that my brand’s share is less than 0.01%. Can you provide any recommendations or strategies to increase my brand visibility and improve its share in these search results?

I appreciate any insights or suggestions you can offer to help improve my product’s visibility and performance on Amazon.

Hi @Seller_Nr5uQb8CyVc11

Regarding your concerns:

1. For irrelevant keywords, you have two options to refine where your ads appear:

  • In your ad group, use the targeting tab to adjust match types (try changing from broad to phrase or exact match)
  • Use the negative targeting tab to exclude unwanted keywords

2. While you can increase brand share by raising bids and budgets, this usually leads to higher ACoS and lower profitability. Instead of focusing on maximizing brand share for individual keywords, consider spreading your advertising across a larger set of keywords, especially long-tail keywords with lower click prices. This way, you can achieve your desired traffic and sales volume more efficiently, even if your share for each individual keyword remains low.

Kind regards, Michael
