Made in the USA

I've seen conflicting guidance on this. Are we allowed to put Made in the USa in our listings if the entire product is manufactured here? If so, where in the listing is it allowed?

Hello @Seller_a1tA0XZNQ3zNF,

Thanks for posting your inquiry. Yes, you can include “Made in the USA” in your product listings on Amazon, as long as the claim is truthful and accurate. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that any “Made in USA” claims on products be substantiated. This means the final product must be “all or virtually all” made in the United States.

To make a “Made in the USA” claim on Amazon:

  1. Ensure your product meets FTC requirements. The product must be “all or virtually all” made in the USA, with only negligible foreign content.
  2. Clearly and conspicuously display the “Made in the USA” claim on your product detail page.
  3. Be prepared to provide documentation to Amazon or the FTC if requested, demonstrating your product’s domestic origin.

Amazon takes intellectual property and truthful advertising claims seriously. Providing accurate information helps maintain customer trust.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Regards,

- Manny
