Feedback extortion

Why are customers allowed to leave negative feedback for not allowing return after the return window. No one allows it none of the big chain stores and neither does amazon.

It feels like extortion because the transaction was complete months ago and the return window was closed and so now this transaction is complete. Now the customer is asking me to refund money and when I tell them its outside of return window they leave negative feedback.

It's just so unfair, I am just following the rules here.

This is intentional. Amazon allows customers to terrorize, extort and exact vengeance on sellers. Amazon's feedback system is an extortion system. Amazon knows that less than two in every hundred or three hundred happy customers bother to leave good feedback. But every bitter, angry customer will definitely leave a negative feedback. So the bitter, angry customers have immense power to destroy a good seller. This is the way Amazon wants it.

If Amazon wanted a fair grading system they would give sellers a statistical boost for every single transaction that happens without issue. But Amazon is not interested in being fair and ethical. They want their sellers living in constant fear of customer retribution. Amazon feels that a seller living in constant fear is a better seller.

very good topic for discussion, return is 30 days, Feedback is 90 days!!??

so Amazon gives the customer a weapon to blackmail the sellers.

Not just that in My case If you continue to criticize the company either in the forum they will find way to revenge: IP even though they have to provide complain from the right owner not say "We leveraged a combination of automated means to identify this issue and make this decision"

-With all the due respect to the Amazon agents here who try their best to help but the tasks are overwhelming, Cases must be resolved before accounts are deactivated

-Lastly Amazon must stop using their sophisticated software to divert sale from sellers it doesn't like.
