How to report suspected fake 5-star reviews on another ASIN?
There’s a new product in the same category I sell in that has rapidly accumulated a large number of 5-star reviews in a very short time. After reviewing several reviewer profiles, it appears that many of these are fake reviews—multiple individual reviewers have ALSO left 5-star reviews on completely UNRELEVANT ASINs, which suggests coordinated activity.
So far, I’ve reported the issue by emailing community-help@amazon.com, citing the relevant policy here: Customer Product Reviews Policies.
I have a few follow-up questions:
- Are there other official tools or channels I should be using to report this kind of behavior?
- In the Seller Central Report Abuse tool (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/abuse-submission/), which category should I select to most accurately report fake review activity?
- Lastly, when reporting through Brand Registry (https://brandregistry.amazon.com/cu/contact-us?serviceId=SOA 'Report a store policy violation/Product review violation'), does Amazon ever disclose the identity of the reporting party to the seller being reported? I want to make sure we're not exposed and receive repercussion
Appreciate any guidance from the community or from Amazon staff—thank you.
Thanks in advance! cc @Manny_Amazon @Michelle_Amazon

Hello @Seller_oA5KhpOgnIvbW !
According to the help pages Answers to Questions about Product Reviews, Customer Reviews and Customer product reviews you can either "click Show review details on the Customer Reviews page, which will take you to the review on the customer-facing detail page. Click the Report button and then click Submit in the pop-up a confirmation box" or "send email to community-help@amazon.com, specifying the location of the content and the reason you believe it violates the guidelines".
For this, you can choose the option "An abuse issue that is not addressed by the other topics in this menu" entering either the ASIN or Product URL and providing an explanation (try to brifly explain why you believe the reviews are fake).
For this, I was unable to find any information in the help pages. I suggest you to open a case with the Help button of Seller Central!
I hope this is helpful!
