Compliance procedure for particulate-filtering facepiece respirator (PFFR) products (KN95 Masks)

Hi Everyone,

Purpose: To understand the appropriate procedure for compliance documentation and validation of particulate-filtering facepiece respirator (PFFR) products (KN95 Masks)

History: We only sell KN95 masks tested by CNAS-accredited labs(Chinese Regulated) as well as A2LA-accredited US testing labs(US Regulated). But as we started listing our products on Amazon US Marketplace, we started receiving performance notifications for Restricted Products Removal on these products. To seek compliance documentation for validating the authenticity of the products. (We were fine till this point as it was standard procedure to validate products which require compliance documentation to be allowed to sell on AMAZON.)

We are left confused and frustrated, as we submitted every appeal in the same format. Additionally, we haven't received any clarity from customer support regarding what is causing our appeals to be denied. We have included all the necessary documents such as the test report from the country of origin as well as a report from an accredited North American laboratory. We would like to know why Case ID 14606290041 was the only one to be approved despite it being the same type of product as the rest of the denied appeal cases.

Any information and insight that can be offered, would be greatly appreciated.

In some instances your cases were resolved because the team requested additional documentation but you did not provide a response after 72 hours. In some cases Amazon is currently still investigating and it can take up to 10 days to complete.

I would recommend that you review each of your cases and ensure that you have reopened the closed ones with the appropriate compliance documentation and wait for resolution on your other cases.
