ACCOUNT HEALTH RATING - AMAZON REDUCES RATING WITH NO EXPLANATION

For the past two weeks AMAZON has reduced my ACCOUNT HEALTH RATING twice for a total of 8 points with no explanation from AMAZON. My rating has been 100% across the board with no violations. Can someone give me some insight? Just don't get it! Thanks to all for your consideration in helping.

Hello @Gaelicguy,

This is Emet from Amazon to help you with your concerns.

For the past two weeks AMAZON has reduced my ACCOUNT HEALTH RATING twice for a total of 8 points with no explanation from AMAZON.

Thank you for your post regarding your account health rating.

My rating has been 100% across the board with no violations. Can someone give me some insight? Just don't get it! Thanks to all for your consideration in helping.
Its a revolving metric and will fluctuate based on volume

As you’ve mentioned there is been a reduction in your point total, even with your account health page showing no violation. As @Powered_By_AMZ mentioned, without any violations, the score is based off of your total completed orders in the past 180-days.

I would suggest reviewing our account health rating: frequently asked questions help page in seller central. Here we discuss not only how the violations impact the account health, but how the score will fluctuate.

This is a section from this page addressing your specific concern:

To calculate your AHR, all new sellers start with a score of 200. Points are deducted from your AHR score each time we find a new policy violation, and added back when you successfully address that violation. Point values for each violation are based on severity level and typically range from 2 to 8, though critical violations automatically bring your AHR score to zero. Also, if you violate the same policy multiple times, in some cases negative point values double per repeat violation. To ensure your AHR is evaluated in context of the size of your business, you also gain 4 points for every 200 successful orders you fulfilled over the last 180 days.

You will gain 4 points for every 200 successful orders over the last 180-days, thus should that order volume drop off, you would notice a decrease in points previously acquired as well.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
