Unable to change Brand name even though I am the registered owner

I am the owner of the Brand name Lilac Market Headbands. I am unable to change my Brand name for ASIN: B0CBSY3B7J for some reason. It keeps showing up error code: 8541. I have already tried seller support, and they want me to delete my listing. I do not want to do that becuase I have already had to delete and redo this specific ASIN multiple times.

Amazon, please fix this issue. Is there any way this can be changed by a higher-up in Amazon?

It is against Amazon's brand name policy to change the brand name on a listing after creation with the only exception being to fix a small typo.

Greetings @Seller_GU23YAL1KQMl3,

The answers you are getting from Seller Support on this subject is correct. Amazon does not permit products to have their brand changed beyond minor changes (typos for example). You can see this on the Product detail page rules:

Any major Brand Name change requests are considered re-branding and will not be supported. To protect Customer trust and ensure catalog quality, we ask that you create a new ASIN for the new product.

This is particularly true for Generic products. A Generic Product cannot be converted to a Brand per Amazon policies.

As mentioned by @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD you will need to create a new listing with a new ASIN and SKU. I apologize for the difficulties this creates. If you have any additional questions on this please feel free tor each out again.
