Why did it go from hundreds of pages of searches to only 7 pages for all categories?

I have verified this with customer support, who told me that Amazon is restricting all other products that don't rank in the first 7 pages from even appearing in the searches. They said that there are a lot more products but Amazon isn't letting them be seen. Amazon says there are "too many products for the category".

So why are they accepting more products in FBA?

This is completely unfair and unethical.

Amazon is charging us storage fees for our products that cannot be searched. We are losing.

Amazon is clearly trying to end sellers businesses or at least get them out of FBA and is happy to charge them until they run out of money or get out.

With all the transparency crap, why isn't Amazon at least notifying sellers that their products will not be seen, therefore not be sold, so maybe make removal orders.

I don't understand why they would do that, but that's what is happening.
