Approval for Used Yale university books
Hi all, new seller here and in process of listing used book inventory. I bought inventory from a thrift store, one being a used Yale University book. I received an application request to post it, and they’re requiring a purchase invoice. It’s showing the invoice must meet a bunch of different criteria: ie, includes my name and address that matches in my FBA account, show combined purchase of at least 10, if providing an invoice or order confirmation please shows combined and fulfilled purchase of at least 50 units…
Can someone who has encountered this provide feedback or clarification?
I only have a receipt from the thrift store, which does not include my name or contact info. Will they accept it it’s written on the receipt? Also, there was only one book for this title, I didn’t purchase 10. Is this really a requirement?

If you are wanting to list a used book and they are asking for invoice -- just stop there.
List it elsewhere.
If you see this sort of thing with every book you try to list, something is wrong.

In general Amazon requires invoices for products requiring approval you will need to provide invoices that meet the requirements. The reason for these policies is to ensure the authenticity of a product. If you aren't able to provide this information you won't be able to sell the product on Amazon. I'm sorry for the difficulties this creates. Thank you for your understanding.
