AWD to FBA Blocked for Seasonal Item Auto-Replenishment with Quantity Limit Error
I need to send inventory from AWD to FBA to prepare for upcoming peak season sale in May, Mother’s Day.
In May 2024, this specific ASIN sold 873 units.
Current inventory (April 10, 2025) is 764 units and is decreasing by the day. This is not enough for upcoming peak season for the month of May (Mother’s Day).
The below are auto-replenishment settings I chose.
Auto-Replenishment Rule: FBA auto-replenishment with quantity limit
Minimum FBA unit Limit: 1100
Maximum FBA unit limit: 1300
Please select a reason why you are not wanting to use Amazon’s recommended quantity: This is a seasonal product and I have more accurate sales forecasts
I am receiving this error “This product has a maximum inventory level and exceeds the allowed quantity. View the maximum inventory level on the Restock Inventory page.”
Inventory needs to be sent ASAP to have adequate inventory for the upcoming peak season. Manual replenishment is being blocked as well.
There is something wrong with Amazon’s AWD system blocking replenishment of seasonal items. This will cause sellers to lose a ton of money.
Any solutions? Can Amazon please fix this ASAP? I really need to send more inventory to FBA soon to make sure it is available for the peak season.

We actively monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and adjust the restrictions accordingly. For example, excessive inventory restrictions are lifted once your products return to healthy inventory levels.
You can check your FBA Inventory page where inventory health status and total days of supply based on projected demand is displayed for each product. If you think your product shouldn’t be restricted for Seasonal Sales or Prime Day events, contact Seller Support.
