Supplements on Amazon US

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

we started selling a range of supplements on Amazon US about 10 years ago. Mainly testosterone boosters. All herbal and natural, manufactured in the UK in registered facilities. We hold COA for all products as well as certification for the manufacturers. However, recently Amazon have been requesting the following. I did ask our manufacturers and they were confused by this request, as they said the certificate of analysis clearly showed the products didnt contain these substances. Also - to test for these substances would be pricey and not something they could do:

Required laboratory test reports from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory or WADA accredited laboratory. The COA must include testing results for the specific compounds outlined below.

Selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs)

Anyone got any advise? Is our only option to get each product tested for these substances?

Looking forward to any advise.

Amazon now requires quite a bit of testing and paperwork to back up any kind of health claim. Not sure if they are covering their basses after all the fake products of the past or if they are pushing out anyone that isn't a major brand of those types of products.

Hey @Seller_2fZ5TloEcMUMK, this help page contains a compliance checklist for supplements that would be good to review. As for your specific documentation, while I don't know what your COA looks like and whether it specifically points out a lack of SARMs, I would advise that if the messaging says your COA must include testing results specifically for those compounds, you likely will need to supply that documentation to be considered compliant.
