Duplicate issue while modifying the listing SKU

Hello,

I hope to get support from sellers experienced the below shown issue.

Changing the SKU of such child listing results in duplicated listings with the same ASIN but differ in SKU (old and new).

Trying to delete listing with the old SKU using, Edit listing > Variations (tab) by select old SKU followed by "Delete selected" and "Apply changes" but it doesn't delete the old SKU listing.

I'm afraid of, delete the old SKU listing from the Inventory dashboard cause I think it will delete the entire ASIN i.e. both old and new will be deleted and hence, I have to start create the listing again from scratch.

Any suggestions please.

Sincerely,
