Dear Sellers,
I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning issue that I've recently encountered with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) while using ATS services. It appears that FBA has been unaccountably removing inventory from our shipments. In other words its a clear case of Stealing inventory.
If you are a seller using these combined services, I highly recommend that you start monitoring your shipments closely. Keep all your records and documentation organized, as having this information on hand could be crucial for resolving any discrepancies with inventory.
Please share your experiences or insights if you’ve faced similar issues, and let’s keep each other informed and supported during this time.
Best regards,

No way. I have been doing FBA for more than 2 years. Go to your support page and open a case ID and provide them the ASIN and request for an inventory check. You will be surprised. They keep record of everything. Sometimes, due to the work load or over load of shipments. things get delay, and YES, if your labels are not correct. May be it can get you in trouble. So double check your shipments before you ship them to FBA.
We noticed something similar in our recent shipments. We are using FBA with ATS and Prep By Amazon. We noticed some contents appearing short.
We now started doing Prep by ourselves and the last shipment was received in full. For the earlier ones, we got a reimbursement.
ive had workers actually steal items from the shipments
stuff always goes missing
sealed the boxes and it stopped
staff are doing it
foreign imports are the ones mainly
worked there myself and saw it with my own eyes
Hello @Seller_Bk3FReJeBOImm,
I appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention. I want to assure all sellers that Amazon takes inventory management very seriously, and we have strict protocols in place to track all items received at our fulfillment centers.
While I understand your frustration, I want to clarify that Amazon does not engage in any practices that could be characterized as "stealing inventory." There are several legitimate reasons why inventory discrepancies might occur, such as damaged items, labeling errors, or misplacement during the receiving process.
Regards,
Adam
