The Inbound Performance Summary provides an overview of problems identified with inbound shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers. To view specific shipment level details, go to the Inbound Performance report.

The following receiving problems are surfaced through the Inbound Performance Feedback system:
Labeling Required - All products sent to FBA require a scannable barcode (UPC, JAN, EAN, ISBN, etc.) or Amazon product label (also known as an X00 label.) If your product incurs one or more of the problems below, Amazon will need to apply a label so that it can be received (may be subject to an additional service charge).
|Label Required||Your product required a barcode and/or Amazon product label to be applied for one or more reasons. See Labeled Inventory for more information.|
|Barcode cannot be scanned||The physical barcode or the Amazon product label is either damaged or smudged beyond legibility and requires relabeling. See Labeled Inventory for more information.|
|Barcode Label Missing||The product is missing either a physical barcode (UPC, JAN, EAN, etc.) or the Amazon product label (X00-label) and requires relabeling. See Labeled Inventory for more information.|
|Unit Mislabeled||The label does not match the physical unit and requires relabeling. See Labeled Inventory for more information.|
|Barcode is not accessible by scanner||Your product(s) included the required scannable barcode, however, it was not accessible for the scanner to read. This could be caused by poor label placement, or prep (such as bubble wrap) blocking the original barcode. See Labeled Inventory for more information.|
Prep Required - One or more products did not include the required prep when sent to FBA. If your product incurs one or more of the problems below, Amazon will need to prep the product(s) so that it can be received.
|Bagging||The Unit was not bagged and required bagging to protect it from dust and damage.|
|Bubble Wrap||The Unit was not bubble wrapped and required bubble wrapping in order to protect it from damage.|
|Opaque Bagging||The Unit is an Adult product and required opaque bagging to protect it from damage.|
|Taping||The Unit required taping in order to be received. Products that have loose parts may be taped so that they are not lost during the fulfillment process. Unsealed poly bags or bubble wrapped must be taped so that the prep does not come loose from the Unit.|
Packaging/Safety Issues - Specific safety issues were identified when your product arrived at the Amazon fulfillment center:
|Shipping Box Oversized||One or more boxes in your shipment exceeded our maximum size or weight requirements. See the Box Dimensions section of the Shipping and Routing Requirements help page.|
|Shipping Box Overweight||One or more boxes in your shipment exceed our maximum weight requirements. See the Box Weight section of the Shipping and Routing Requirements help page.|
|Sharp Products Hazard||One or more product(s) in your shipment included a sharp product that was not packaged in accordance with our policies.|
|Spilled Products Hazard||One or more product(s) in your shipment contained a spillable product that was not packaged in accordance with our policies.|
|Improper Dunnage (Packing Materials)||One or more boxes in your shipment included improper packing materials. See the Dunnage section of the Shipping and Routing Requirements help page.|
|Electrical Products Hazard||One or more product(s) in your shipment included electrical products without proper packaging.|
|Shipment ID Not Included on Shipping Box(es)||One or more boxes in your shipment did not have the FBA Shipment ID label on the carton. You are required to include the FBA Shipment label on each box that you are sending to Amazon.|
Product Restriction Issues - Products sent to the fulfilment center are not allowed.
|Restricted item||Your product(s) is restricted from selling through FBA or Amazon.|
|Expiration issue||Your product(s) did not meet the expiration date and/or date lot requirements.|
Catalog Issues - Product listings do not meet catalog requirements.
|Product title change required||Your product title did not meet the FBA product title requirements and/or did not match the product label.|
Unit Quantity - The quantity for the products you sent was different than what was listed on your FBA shipment.
|Unexpected Item Found||One or more units were not listed on your FBA shipment.|
|Additional Quantities Encountered||You sent more units than were listed on your FBA shipment.|
|Product or shipment sent to the wrong fulfillment center||Your shipment or product was sent to a different fulfillment center than listed in your shipment plan.|
|Product damaged upon arrival||Your shipment or product(s) arrived in a damaged condition, and was unable to be received into your Sellable inventory.|
Distributed Inventory Placement issues - A quantity other than what was planned in Seller Central has arrived at Amazon fulfillment centers.
|More items received than expected||More products were received on your FBA Shipment than we expected. Please review all shipments to ensure that the number of units exactly matches the Expected Quantity you reported to Amazon. Failure to address this issue can cause errors or delays in receiving your products.|
|Fewer items received than expected||Fewer products were received on your FBA Shipment than we expected. Please review all shipments to ensure that the number of units exactly matches the Expected Quantity you reported to Amazon. Failure to address this issue can cause errors or delays in receiving your products.|
Escalated Inbound Performance Feedback - Amazon may temporarily suspend your ability to create and modify inbound FBA shipments due to repeated problems with our inbound requirement.
|Unit/Shipment Preparation Errors||One or more of the units on your shipment incurred a problem with one or more of our Inbound Requirements. You may be required to schedule a phone call with our operations team before your shipment creation and modification privileges can be reinstated.|
