How to Read an Inventory Report

The Inventory Report is a tab-delimited file that you can open in any spreadsheet or database program, such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel. Below is a list of fields that appear in the report along with the definitions for those fields and examples for each.

Field Definition Example
SKU Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) are unique blocks of letters and/or numbers that identify your products. SKUs are assigned by you as seller. 154844
ASIN Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASINs) are unique blocks of 10 letters and/or numbers that identify items. ASINs are assigned by Amazon. You can find the ASIN on the product detail page. 0312306180
Price The price you are requesting for the product. 12.99
Quantity The quantity of the product available for purchase. Also called inventory position. 15
