Flat file feeds are useful when you have many different products that you want to list at once. You can enter all of your products into an Inventory File Template and upload them all at once instead of locating them on Amazon and listing them individually. The file you create can be retained and used to update quantities and prices, and to add or delete products. You can learn more about flat file feeds by going to Inventory File Templates.
When you use inventory file templates to create your FBA listings, there are several fields that you must fill in correctly to list your products for Fulfillment by Amazon. If you enter the information incorrectly, your FBA listings will revert to showing as being fulfilled by merchant:
Field Name | Fulfilled by Amazon | Fulfilled by Merchant |
---|---|---|
FulfillmentCenterID | Enter "AMAZON_AE" for all of your FBA listings. | Leave this field blank or enter "DEFAULT" for your listings that you want to fulfil on your own. |
Quantity | Do not enter a value in this field. If you indicated "AMAZON_AE" in the FulfilmentCenterID field, these quantities will be ignored. You can enter quantities in the shipping workflow when you create a shipment to a fulfillment center. | Enter the quantity of the product you are making available for sale. This is your current inventory commitment. If left blank and you did not enter a FulfillmentCenterID when first submitting the product information, the product will be displayed as "Out of stock." |
FBA Fulfillment Attributes template
The FBA Fulfillment Attributes template enables you to add important information about your products to existing listings that is not currently available in the Inventory File Templates for creating listings. This is a one-time process for each ASIN. Once you have uploaded an ASIN's attributes, you won't need to use the feed again unless those attributes change.
Field name | Definition and use |
---|---|
is-expiration-dated-product | The product is perishable and has a stamped shelf life. |
package-length | Length measurement of the package in centimeters |
package-width | Width measurement of the package in centimeters |
package-height | Height measurement of the package in centimeters |
FBA Price Only Feed
The FBA Price Only feed enables you to add/modify prices for your Amazon-fulfilled listings without conflicting with any other details like quantity (at the fulfillment center), item information, as well as other offer-related details. Quantity information associated with your Amazon-fulfilled listings is governed by inventory movements at our fulfillment centers, and essentially, the only modifications that are required to be applied to such listings from your end would be for the prices alone. The FBA Price Only feed serves this requirement by helping you with an easy, error-free means for modifying the prices for your FBA listings. The following instructions help you download the pricing flat file, fill in the details, and submit the file for upload:
