Examples of Prohibited Listings

  • Most types of pure precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) or gems, including those that are not stamped in compliance with applicable laws, example: Assay marks on items described as “gold”.
  • Precious metals over 1 gm which have not been weighed with stamped weighing and measuring equipment with the required degree of accuracy.
  • Rough diamonds that do not comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.

Note: Sellers who list prohibited items or content can have their selling permissions removed, either temporarily or permanently.
