Amazon limits the addition of new sellers in certain
categories to ensure a high level of quality so that customers are able to buy with
confidence from all sellers on Amazon. While
our site-wide selling guidelines still apply, please note the additional requirements
for this category.
Seller requirements

You must have an inventory of more than one product in this category.

You must have a return delivery address in the local country or provide free
international return delivery.

You must be able to provide local language support for customer service in the marketplace in
which the sale is intended.

Your own company website is not required, but it is helpful to us for review during the
application process.

You must provide acceptable documentation (for example, valid invoices) and other information
that we request about the products that you intend to sell.
Product requirements

The products that you sell must be new.

All products must be intended for sale in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and comply
with all laws and regulations of the Gulf Countries Council (GCC) or of the local country.

For each product, a valid barcode (product identifier) that is registered and
associated with the product is required.

All food products offered for sale on an Amazon website must (as a minimum) be
labelled in the language of that website.

All food products offered for sale on an Amazon website must be intended for sale
in the UAE and comply with all applicable GCC and local laws and regulations, including, but not
limited to, food information and labelling regulations (such as the Gulf Standards Organization
(GSO) standard number 9).
Note: If the manufacturer of your product does not issue product identifiers (EAN, UPC
or JAN), you can
contact Seller Support to request an exemption or, if you are the
brand owner, apply for the Amazon Brand Registry to obtain GCIDs unique to your products
